RutLock is a custom door manufacturer specializing in product lines that meet customers' specific needs. RutLock takes care of design and engineering in-house. Each product is designed and manufactured on the Colorado Front Range. All products are handmade, adding a truly unique touch to each piece. Product lines are not limited to doors. RutLock manufactures accent pieces and certain types of millwork. Brian has spent the last 5 years engineering custom interior and exterior doors. He found his passion for woodworking playing on a small CNC making signs and boxes in his garage while working as the engineering manager for an electrical systems manufacturer.  Brian earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University and has extensive Lean manufacturing training and experience. He took a position as a CNC operator at a medium sized architectural woodworking company. He quickly rose up the ranks until he was the managing engineer for the company’s door department. Brian’s acute attention to detail is seen in every product he works on. He has a great ability to bring designers’ ideas to life. Brian’s decision to venture out on his own is driven by a desire to produce high quality products that bring people’s dream homes to life.

Will began his career working in the electronics industry, specifically material manufacturing for circuit board assembly. His career started early, with a focus on learning all the ins and outs of manufacturing and quality control. Will has a passion for problem solving and process control. He spent 8 years working in the industry before leaving to do a small stint in the construction industry. He worked 2 years as an electrician in southern California before coming back to Colorado and taking a job as a production manager for a medium sized architectural woodworking company. He shortly realized he had found his calling and decided to start his own company.
